To be effective, display figures have to be convincing and of the highest quality which means that they can be quite expensive. However with careful placement thay can be a good investment. Theatre works best as a totally immersive experience where the visitor feels part of the surrounding environment. Small dioramas and scenic settings often have greater appeal than their full scale equivalent. With careful lighting and placement they can also be made to appear full scale to the visitor as shown below.
